Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for a SAP ABAP & BTP Full Stack Developer (Entry-Level / Fresher) for their Foster City, CA location.
Responsibilities:
Assist in building and testing OData services using the RAP Framework under senior developer guidance.
Learn and contribute to UI5/Fiori application development in BAS, starting with Smart Controls and standard UI annotations.
Shadow architecture discussions on Managed/Standalone App Router configurations; gradually take on configuration tasks.
Support XSUAA authentication setup and Cloud Connector connectivity tasks with supervision.
Participate in functional walkthroughs of EAM (Work Orders, Asset Lifecycle), MM/EWM (Inventory, part replacement), and PP/QM (production planning, quality processes) to build domain knowledge.
Assist with Fiori Elements extensions, basic controller logic, and CDS view development.
Write Python scripts/utilities to support integration testing, data processing, and automation tasks alongside the SAP stack.
Complete structured SAP training/certification during onboarding (BTP, RAP, UI5 fundamentals).
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field (recent graduate, 0–2 years experience).
Mandatory: Working proficiency in Python (core language, scripting, basic OOP in Python).
Foundational knowledge of ABAP, OOP concepts, and/or exposure to SAP through coursework, internships, or academic projects.
Basic understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, REST/OData concepts) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn quickly in a structured mentorship environment.
Good communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Nice to Have (not required):
Academic exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori, or cloud application development.
SAP certifications completed during college (if any).
Familiarity with popular Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Requests, FastAPI/Flask, or PyTest.
Exposure to AI agent development or frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, MCP-based agent tooling) through coursework, hackathons, or personal projects.
