Title: SAP ABAP Consultant with HANA

Location: Remote

Duration: Full Time/Permanent Role

Salary Range-$100,000-$120,000 a year + benefits

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

SAP ABAP Developer with strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and Supply Chain solutions. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of both traditional and modern SAP development and be able to Consultantly analyze requirements, design technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver high-quality developments.

Key Responsibilities.

Develop and support:

• ABAP Reports and executable programs
• ABAP Objects, Classes, Interfaces, and Methods
• Function Modules and RFCs
• BAdIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Framework
• BAPIs and standard SAP APIs
• IDocs and ALE integrations
• Background jobs and batch processing
• Data extraction and integration programs
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, performance problems, short dumps, and data inconsistencies.
• Analyze existing custom ABAP developments and identify opportunities for simplification and modernization.
• Work with functional and business teams to translate Supply Chain requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, SIT/UAT, deployment, and production support.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other ABAP developers.

• Material/Product Master
• Plant and Storage Location
• Procurement and Purchasing
• Sales and Distribution
• Production Planning
• MRP
• Demand and Supply Planning
• Inventory Management
• Planned Orders and Production Orders
• Purchase Orders and Sales Orders
• BOM, Routing, Work Center, and Production Master Data
• Supply Chain master and transactional data integrations

Generic Managerial Skills, If any

SAP MM; SAP IBP

Experience with SAP IBP integration, including:

• ECC/S/4HANA to IBP integration
• CIF / CI-DS
• IBP master data and transactional data flows
• Product, Location, Resource, PDS, Demand, and Supply integrations
• Troubleshooting ECC/IBP data discrepancies
• Integration monitoring and error handling

Hands-on experience with S/4HANA development and modernization, including:

• ABAP for HANA
• CDS Views / CDS View Entities
• AMDP
• Open SQL Eligible to workimization for HANA
• Code-to-data development concepts
• HANA database performance Eligible to workimization
• Modern ABAP syntax and ABAP Objects
• Eclipse / VS Code / ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
• RAP concepts and RESTful services
• OData / API development
• SAP standard APIs and released objects
• Understanding of the S/4HANA Simplification approach
• Custom-code remediation and modernization
• Experience replacing legacy ABAP approaches with HANA-Eligible to workimized solutions
