We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer with strong expertise in Plan to Produce (P2P) / Production Planning (PP) processes to join our SAP development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and enhancing ABAP solutions in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, supporting manufacturing and production operations through scalable, high-quality technical solutions. The role requires strong technical proficiency in ABAP development along with functional knowledge of SAP PP modules.

Key Responsibilities

ABAP Development

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP RICEF objects including Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows.
• Develop Classical, Interactive, and ALV reports using Procedural and Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Create Module Pool programs, custom transactions, and reusable ABAP components.
• Optimize existing custom developments for performance and maintainability.

Enhancements & Integrations

• Develop and implement BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Frameworks, and Enhancement Spots.
• Build and maintain integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and web services/APIs.
• Develop and maintain SmartForms, SAPscript, and Adobe Forms for business documentation.

SAP PP / Plan to Produce

• Collaborate with functional teams to support Plan to Produce business processes.
• Develop solutions supporting:
  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • Bill of Materials (BOM)
  • Routing
  • Production Orders
  • Shop Floor Control
  • Manufacturing Execution Processes
• Analyze business requirements and provide technical solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

SAP S/4HANA Development

• Develop S/4HANA-compatible ABAP solutions.
• Create and optimize CDS Views.
• Implement performance-optimized Open SQL.
• Support custom code remediation during S/4HANA migration projects.
• Exposure to RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) is a plus.

Testing & Support

• Perform unit testing and support SIT and UAT activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Participate in deployment activities and production support.

Documentation & Quality

• Prepare Technical Specifications, design documents, and code review documentation.
• Follow SAP development standards, Clean Core principles, and coding best practices.
• Participate in peer reviews and ensure solution quality.
