Duration: 6 Months (can extend)
Pay Range: $55 - $60/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced developer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing ABAP solutions across SAP ECC/S4HANA landscapes. The candidate will work closely with functional teams to deliver scalable and high-quality solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong ABAP expertise (RICEF, OO ABAP)
• Experience with BADIs, Enhancements, User Exits
• Experience with BAPIs, RFC, IDocs, Interfaces
• Experience with SmartForms / SAPscript / Adobe Forms
• S/4HANA exposure (CDS Views, code optimization)
• Knowledge of ALV, Module Pool, Dialog Programming
• Hands-on experience in O2C (SD) and P2P (MM/FI) processes
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• SAP Fiori / UI5 exposure
• Experience with SAP BTP / RAP / APIs
• Knowledge of integration with non-SAP systems
• Experience in S/4HANA migration projects

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance ABAP RICEF objects for O2C and P2P modules
• Develop classical, interactive, and ALV reports, including OO ABAP programming
• Build module pool programs, dialog transactions, and custom developments
• Implement BADIs, User Exits, Enhancement Spots (implicit/explicit)
• Develop integrations using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and proxy/interfaces
• Work on output management (SmartForms, SAPscript, Adobe Forms)
• Collaborate with SD (O2C) and MM/FI (P2P) functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs
• Develop S/4HANA-ready objects including CDS Views and optimized Open SQL
• Perform code remediation and performance tuning for S/4 migrations
• Perform unit testing, SIT/UAT support, and defect resolution
• Support production issues including critical business cycles (month-end, quarter-end)
• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and code reviews
• Ensure adherence to SAP standards, best practices, and clean core principles
