What you’ll be doing:

• Work closely with Business Systems Analyst team to determine optimal solutions addressing the functional requirements.
• Translate requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications documentation.
• Design, Develop and Maintain a diverse set of SAP Objects based on the business needs.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews as per established SDLC guidelines.
• Proactively monitors and supports the production landscape to address issues.

Technical and Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in SAP ABAP analysis, design, and programming experience developing custom SAP solutions. Relevant work experience supporting Operations functional area is a plus.
• Proficiency in conventional ABAP development tools and techniques including but not limited to Classic ABAP programming, ABAP Workbench, ABAP Objects, IDocs, SAPScripts, Smartforms, Web-Dynpro, Web Services, Workflows, User Exits / BADIs / Enhancements.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, Core Data Services CDS and AMDP.
• Knowledge of RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) is an advantage.
• Working experience in SAPUI5, Fiori and Screen Personas is a plus(not mandatory).
• Deep understanding of SAP Authorizations.
• Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Debug, tune and optimize programs for performance.
• SAP certification is preferred.

• Ability to come up with estimates based on different levels of specifications at different stages of a project.
• Ability to work through and accomplish tasks in estimated time targets.
• Ability to document / explain / escalate issues appropriately through to the Management.
• Design smart technical solutions for different business process requirements.
• Ability to understand functional specifications and convert them to technical specifications and code.
• Conduct reviews of functional and technical designs.
• Experience with working in a distributed multiple SAP systems landscape.
