Job Overview:

Aerospace & Defense customer is seeking an experienced SAP Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Master Scheduler Consultant with strong expertise in Airframer Manufacturing, Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Assembly Processing, and SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Aerospace & Defense manufacturing operations and be able to bridge business scheduling requirements with SAP-enabled planning and execution processes. This role requires hands-on experience with aircraft production scheduling, tail number planning, parameter effectivity, manufacturing bill of materials (MBoM), and complex assembly manufacturing environments.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, manufacturing operations, and SAP development teams to define requirements, design solutions, author functional specifications, and support testing activities.

Required Aerospace & Defense Business Expertise:

Airframer Master Production Scheduling (MPS)

• Strong understanding of Aerospace & Defense Airframer Master Production Scheduling best practices
• Experience generating production schedules based on:
  • Production Rate / Takt Time
  • Out-the-Door (OTD) Delivery Dates
  • Tail Number planning and sequencing
• Experience scheduling:
  • Models/Programs with ranges of Tail Numbers
  • Multiple Assembly Lines within a Plant
  • Common Stations across Production Lines
  • Spares within production schedules
  • Multiple Models/Programs on shared production lines
• Understanding of commercial and defense aircraft manufacturing programs

Aerospace Manufacturing Processes

• Aircraft Assembly Manufacturing
• Complex Manufacturing Environments
• Engineer-to-Order (ETO) Manufacturing
• Program-Based Manufacturing
• Multi-Line Production Scheduling
• Production Network Planning

Contract & Program Management
