Job Title: SAP S/4HANA & BW/4HANA Security Consultant

Location: Raritan, NJ

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP S/4HANA & BW/4HANA Security Consultant to support enterprise SAP initiatives, including S/4HANA transformation, security design, governance, and compliance. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, Basis administrators, and auditors to ensure secure and compliant access across SAP applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations for SAP S/4HANA and BW/4HANA.
• Implement and support SAP Fiori security, including catalogs, spaces, pages, business roles, and OData service authorizations.
• Create and maintain single, composite, derived, and business roles using PFCG.
• Perform user provisioning, role modifications, and authorization troubleshooting using SU53, SU24, SUIM, and ST01.
• Support SAP GRC Access Control processes, including Access Risk Analysis (ARA), Access Request Management (ARM), Business Role Management (BRM), and Emergency Access Management (EAM).
• Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and work with business teams to mitigate access risks.
• Participate in SAP S/4HANA implementation, upgrade, and migration activities from a security perspective.
• Support SAP transport management and coordinate security changes across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Collaborate with Basis, functional, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve security issues.
• Assist internal and external audit teams by providing security documentation and evidence.
• Conduct periodic user access reviews and ensure compliance with corporate security policies.
• Develop security standards, documentation, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of SAP Security and Authorization experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Security implementation and support.
• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA Security and analytical authorization concepts.
• Strong expertise in SAP Fiori Security configuration.
• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control (ARA, ARM, BRM, EAM).
• Deep knowledge of PFCG, SU24, SU53, SUIM, ST01, and authorization troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting SOX, audit, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional global teams.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP Security, SAP Identity Access Governance (IAG), or SAP Identity Management (IdM).
• Familiarity with SAP HANA database security and SAP Cloud solutions.
• SAP Security certification is a plus.
