Your Role
Akkodis is seeking an SAP Basis Admin for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate is responsible for leading SAP landscape architecture, managing system upgrades and migrations, and ensuring high availability, performance optimization, and reliable system operations.
Rate Range: $49/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SAP Basis Admin Job Responsibilities include:
Lead SAP BASIS operations, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations across S/4HANA and HANA landscapes.
Manage SAP system performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and ensure optimal system reliability.
Drive end-to-end SAP landscape architecture, including cloud integration with Azure/AWS and RISE transformations.
Handle transport management, patching, system refreshes, and database administration activities.
Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and automate BASIS tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
8-10 years of SAP BASIS administration experience, with strong focus on S/4HANA and HANA environments.
Extensive hands-on expertise in SAP system installations, upgrades, migrations (S/4HANA, RISE), and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
Strong knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery, and BASIS automation with proven leadership experience.

Pay Details: $49.00 to $53.00 per hour
