As an associate SAP Basis Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the SAP landscape by assisting in system maintenance, performance optimization, and issue resolution. You will work closely with senior team members to ensure the availability, security, and efficiency of SAP systems. This role is ideal for individuals with 2 to 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration who are looking to further develop their technical expertise in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities:SAP System Administration:Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP systems, including ECC, S/4, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, and other SAP modules.Support system upgrades, patches, and kernel updates under the guidance of senior administrators.Monitor system performance and report issues to senior team members.Database Management:Perform routine database backups, restores, and basic optimization tasks for SAP systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, HANA).Support database security and integrity measures as directed.User and Role Management:Assist in managing user accounts, roles, and authorizations within SAP systems.Support the implementation of security measures to protect sensitive data.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:Collaborate with senior team members to diagnose and resolve SAP system issues, including performance bottlenecks and connectivity problems.Provide first-level technical support to end-users and elevate complex issues as needed.System Monitoring and Reporting:Use monitoring tools to assist in tracking system health and performance (e.g., Solution Manager).Prepare basic reports on system usage, performance metrics, and incidents.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with senior administrators, functional teams, and developers to support business requirements.Communicate progress and updates to team members and stakeholders effectively.Documentation and Best Practices:Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures.Follow established best practices for SAP Basis administration.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration.Foundational knowledge of SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance.Familiarity with database management (e.g., HANA, Oracle, SQL Server).Exposure to SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and management.Understanding of operating systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows) and networking concepts.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Preferred Skills:SAP certification in Basis or HANA administration.Exposure to cloud-based SAP solutions (e.g., SAP on Azure, AWS, or GCP).Basic knowledge of SAP security and compliance standards.Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management.CBTS provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a protected veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.J-18808-Ljbffr
