Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Architect to support and evolve enterprise SAP landscapes across a complex, multi-system environment. This role will serve as a key technical leader responsible for SAP systems architecture, administration, and strategic roadmap development. This position offers flexibility in leveling (Lead through Architect) based on experience and demonstrated expertise in SAP Basis, infrastructure design, and enterprise system optimization. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead SAP Basis administration across multiple SAP environments including ECC, CRM, BW, BOBJ/BODS, BPC, and Solution Manager
  • Oversee system installations, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning across SAP landscapes
  • Monitor system health, conduct performance analysis, and implement optimization strategies
  • Design and support multi-landscape SAP architecture, including cloud and on-prem environments
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, governance processes, and architecture frameworks
  • Partner with functional and technical teams to support enterprise SAP enhancements and initiatives
  • Lead or contribute to SAP projects including upgrades, migrations, and integrations
  • Support capacity planning, system scalability, and long-term infrastructure strategy
  • Provide leadership across cross-functional teams and contribute to enterprise technology direction

Requirements:

  • Strong SAP Basis experience, DBA experience, network administration experience and project management experience
  • Solid understanding of SAP Basis leading practices, methodologies, processes and control framework including but not limited to ITIL
  • Proven program and project management, ITIL, and continuous improvement implementations
  • Experience estimating effort and resources required for projects and working with project managers to structure projects
  • Hands-on SAP Basis troubleshooting experience in multiple SAP components such as - ECC, BW, CRM, XI/PI, Solution Manager, GRC, NWDI, DMS, SuccessFactors, HANA, BOBJ, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in performance and stress tests for the project and being instrumental in creating load runner scripts and stress testing and executing them
  • Experience in working closely with key vendors/suppliers and review of reports and metrics for performance and capacity planning
  • Experience establishing policies, product and operating standards
  • Experience establishing SLAs, negotiating and managing both in-sourced and out-sourced IT services
  • Experience effectively building virtual IT teams and driving towards results
  • Experience working as part of a team to provide the optimal solution for both business needs and project standards
  • Familiarity with SAP on VMware

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
