SAP Basis Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to manage, administer, monitor, and support SAP environments. The consultant will be responsible for maintaining system availability, performance, security, and stability across Development, QA, and Production environments.

The role requires close collaboration with SAP functional teams, infrastructure teams, and clients to troubleshoot issues and ensure smooth SAP operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support the SAP landscape across Development, QA, and Production environments.
• Perform SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and system lifecycle activities.
• Administer and support SAP HANA databases.
• Monitor SAP system performance and perform performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Provide production support and resolve critical SAP Basis issues.
• Ensure SAP systems meet availability, security, and performance requirements.
• Work with infrastructure and functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Support system refreshes, transports, backups, and other Basis-related activities.

Must-Have Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
• Strong experience in SAP System Lifecycle Management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP HANA Database Administration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience with SAP performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Strong production support and incident resolution experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP Solution Manager / SAP Focused Run.
• Knowledge of Cloud technologies.
• Experience with automation tools and technologies.
