SAP Basis Consultant

Role: Senior SAP Basis Consultant
Location: Marlborough, MA 100% Onsite
Senior-level SAP Basis experience
Support: 24x7 production support / On-call rotation

What We Need
We are looking for a Senior SAP Basis Consultant with strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration, upgrades, migrations, implementations, troubleshooting, and production support.
The person should be comfortable managing large SAP environments and working with infrastructure, database, security, network, and functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support SAP Development, QA, Production, and DR environments.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and patch SAP systems.
• Perform SAP kernel upgrades, SPS updates, system copies, client copies, and system refreshes.
• Work with SAP environments including:
  • SAP S/4HANA
  • SAP ECC
  • SAP BW
  • SAP Fiori
  • SAP PI/PO
  • SAP Solution Manager
  • SAP BOBJ / BODS
  • SAP CAR
  • SAP GRC
  • SAP Gateway / Portal / ADS
• Manage SAP Transport Management System (TMS) and Transport Express.
• Monitor SAP systems for performance, availability, and stability.
• Troubleshoot complex SAP Basis, database, OS, network, and application server issues.
• Perform SAP performance tuning and system optimization.
• Work with SAP Solution Manager, EarlyWatch Reports, and monitoring tools.
• Support SAP Fiori, Web Dispatcher, SAP Router, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Handle SSL certificates, SNC, SSO, SAP Router configuration, and security-related activities.
• Support High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), backup, and recovery.
• Experience with SAP Archiving.
• Support S/4HANA implementation, migration, and conversion projects.
• Have experience with SAP Cloud ALM, including alerts and monitoring.
• Knowledge of SAP BTP Administration, Integration Suite, DevOps, and CI/CD is preferred.
• Work with infrastructure, security, network, database, and functional teams.
• Follow ITIL processes for Incident, Change, Problem, and Release Management.
• Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, architecture documents, and KT materials.
• Participate in 24x7 production support and on-call rotations.
