Your Role
Akkodis is seeking an SAP BASIS Manager for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid). This role leads SAP S/4HANA upgrade initiatives, ensuring system readiness, performance, and seamless execution across environments.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SAP BASIS Manager Job Responsibilities include:
Plan and execute SAP S/4HANA system upgrades using SUM/DMO, ensuring minimal downtime and successful deployment.
Perform pre-upgrade readiness assessments, system checks, and preparation activities.
Manage SPAU/SPDD activities, custom code remediation, and post-upgrade validation tasks.
Monitor system performance, apply kernel updates, and manage transport across environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (infrastructure, ABAP, functional, security) for smooth upgrade execution.
Provide cutover planning, go-live support, and hypercare to ensure system stability after upgrades.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-12+ years of experience in SAP Basis administration with strong exposure to S/4HANA environments.
Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA upgrades using SUM/DMO, including system preparation, SPAU/SPDD, and post-upgrade activities.
Strong expertise in HANA database administration, system performance tuning, and ability to collaborate across technical teams for successful go-live and support.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
