SAP BRIM Developer (Junior, Developer, Senior)

Job Overview

Seeking SAP BRIM Developers at the Junior, Developer, and Senior levels to design, develop, integrate, and support SAP BRIM solutions across Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and FI-CA. The role focuses on enterprise billing, revenue management, subscription-based solutions, integrations, performance optimization, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP BRIM solutions across SOM, CC, CI, and FI-CA.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Develop ABAP programs, enhancements, BADIs, user exits, workflows, APIs, OData services, RFCs, and web services.
• Develop and support SOM processes, including order capture, subscription lifecycle management, contract changes, fulfillment, and provisioning integrations.
• Develop and support CC charging, rating, usage-based billing, mediation, and pricing solutions.
• Develop and support CI invoicing, billing aggregation, financial posting, reconciliation, and invoice generation.
• Develop and support FI-CA functionality including customer accounts, payments, collections, dunning, financial postings, disputes, and reconciliation.
• Integrate SAP BRIM with SAP S/4HANA, CRM/CX, middleware, APIs, and third-party billing and payment systems.
• Perform unit, integration, system, and UAT testing; troubleshoot and resolve defects.
• Monitor and optimize application and transaction performance in high-volume billing and charging environments.
• Support deployments, cutovers, maintenance activities, incidents, and production issues.
• Create and maintain technical specifications, interface documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, BASIS, infrastructure, data migration, integration, and business teams.
• Participate in technical design sessions, architecture reviews, Agile ceremonies, and knowledge-transfer activities.

Required Qualifications

Experience by Level

• Junior: 2+ years of SAP technical development experience and 1+ years of SAP BRIM development experience.
• Developer: 3–7 years of SAP technical development experience and 2+ years of SAP BRIM development experience.
• Senior: 7+ years of SAP technical development experience and 3+ years of SAP BRIM development experience.

Technical Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAP SOM, CI, CC, and FI-CA.
• Strong SAP ABAP development experience, including enhancements, user exits, BADIs, APIs, OData, and workflows.
• Experience with SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA integrations.
• Experience with middleware, APIs, and enterprise system integrations.
• Strong understanding of subscription-based and usage-based billing.
• Experience with billing, invoicing, financial integration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori, or SAP Datasphere.
• Experience with cloud-native SAP deployments and DevOps/CI/CD.
• Experience in utilities, telecommunications, transportation, finance, or subscription-based industries.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise SAP transformation programs.
• Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Prior consulting or contracting experience in enterprise SAP environments.
• SAP, BTP, S/4HANA, HANA, or cloud certifications.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Equivalent education and relevant experience may be considered.
