Job Title: Senior SAP BW/BOBJ Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and BOBJ (Business Objects) Developer to join our SAP Application Management Services (AMS) team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining SAP BW solutions and integrating them with BOBJ for reporting and analytics. This role is crucial for optimizing our data management processes and delivering valuable insights to our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP BW Development:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP BW data models, including InfoObjects, DataStore Objects (DSOs), and InfoCubes.
• Create and maintain ETL processes using SAP Data Services or BW Extractors to ensure accurate and timely data loading from source systems.
• Optimize existing data models and processes for performance and efficiency, ensuring data integrity and quality.

Business Objects (BOBJ) Development:

• Develop and maintain BOBJ reports, dashboards, and visualizations based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data presented in BOBJ reports by performing data validation and reconciliation.

System Integration and Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, business analysts, and IT support staff, to ensure seamless integration of BW and BOBJ solutions.
• Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data standards and security protocols.

Project Management:

• Participate in various project initiatives, including SAP BW upgrades, migrations, and implementation of new functionalities.
• Prepare project documentation, including design specifications, technical documents, and user guides.
• Provide input on project timelines, scope, and resource allocation.

Job Description:

• Strong experience in SAP BW and SAP BPC (10.x).
• Expertise in Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Consolidation processes.
• Hands-on experience with BPC Models, Dimensions, Business Rules, Script Logic, EPM Reports, and DM Packages.
• Good knowledge of BW Modeling, Process Chains, Data Loads, Transformations, and InfoProviders.
• Experience in requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Ability to troubleshoot BPC/BW issues and provide functional and technical solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA, Analysis for Office (AFO), and SAC Planning is an added advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
