LABUR is partnering with a client to find a Senior Logistics/Warehouse Management Consultant who will embed directly within the team as a hands-on contributor. This role demands deep SAP expertise spanning logistics execution, inventory management, and warehouse operations, paired with the ability to connect end-to-end supply chain processes and drive meaningful improvements. The ideal person thrives in collaborative, roll-up-your-sleeves environments where direct involvement, mentorship, and team engagement are essential.
Responsibilities
Configure and optimize SAP Logistics Execution processes, including inbound/outbound deliveries, shipment processing, transportation integration, and goods movements
Manage inventory operations spanning goods receipts, goods issues, transfer postings, reservations, physical inventory, batch/serial management, and inventory valuation
Lead SAP EWM warehouse processes including putaway, picking, packing, staging, wave management, replenishment, RF/mobile operations, yard management, and warehouse automation
Connect and streamline end-to-end business processes across logistics, inventory, warehousing, procurement, production, order management, finance, and transportation
Lead SAP S/4HANA logistics configuration and optimization across EWM, MM, and SD modules
Drive SAP implementation and rollout activities including blueprinting, configuration, functional testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for logistics processes, system configurations, and change records
Mentor and train team members and end users on SAP logistics processes, best practices, and system functionality
Qualifications
Senior-level expertise in SAP Logistics Execution, SAP EWM, and Inventory Management within SAP S/4HANA environments
Hands-on SAP configuration skills with strong master data expertise across logistics and warehouse modules
Working knowledge of SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) modules
End-to-end understanding of integrated logistics, procurement, production, order management, finance, and transportation processes
Proven track record in full lifecycle SAP implementation or rollout projects
Strong problem-solving abilities and incident management experience
Excellent business communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
SAP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate in EWM or related module) preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
Compensation
$80-90/hr, depending on fit/experience
