Role SAP CPI / BTP Integration & CAP Developer

Role Summary
Design, develop, and support SAP CPI-based integration solutions and cloud-native applications on SAP BTP.
Build scalable integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, and external financial systems.
Drive PI/PO to CPI migration, BTP adoption, and CAP-based application development.
Onshore requirement open for USA/Canada/Mexico
Role Overview (Client Context)
Support a financial services client by developing robust integrations and cloud-native applications.
Bridge SAP Ariba ecosystem with core SAP and non-SAP systems ensuring scalability and security.
Operate in Agile delivery model using Jira and Confluence.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop CPI iFlows for SAP Ariba, S/4HANA, and financial system integrations.
Develop cloud-native applications using SAP CAP (Node.js/Java) on SAP BTP.
Perform PI/PO to CPI migration (lift & shift / re-engineering).
Collaborate with functional teams for Ariba integration (SLP, Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing).
Configure adapters: REST, SOAP, SFTP, IDoc, RFC, OData, JMS.
Develop mappings using Groovy, XSLT, Java mapping, and Message Mapping.
Participate in Agile ceremonies sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives.
Ensure monitoring, error handling, performance tuning, and system optimization.
Implement security standards including OAuth, encryption, certificates, and API security.
Support testing (UT/UAT) and resolve production issues within SLA.

Must-Have Skills
Strong SAP CPI experience iFlows, Groovy scripting, Message Mapping, API Management.
Hands-on SAP BTP experience including Integration Suite and services.
SAP CAP development experience (Node.js / Java, CDS, OData V2/V4).
Experience integrating SAP Ariba (SLP, Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing) via APIs/CIG.
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, File/SFTP integrations.
Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence).

Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with SAP Event Mesh, HANA Cloud, BTP Connectivity services.
B2B/EDI integrations (ANSI X12, EDIFACT, AS2).
Exposure to financial domain processes (P2P, invoice management).
ABAP integration exposure (BAPI, IDoc, Proxy).

Experience & Qualifications
5 10+ years of SAP Integration/Development experience.
Strong experience in CPI, BTP, and CAP development.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent.
Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
