Job Title: SAP CPI Integration Consultant (PI/PO Migration)

Overview / Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Consultant to lead and support the migration of SAP PI/PO interfaces to SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI). The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing integration solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing SAP PI/PO interfaces and define migration strategies
  • Design and develop iFlows in SAP CPI
  • Migrate and transform:
    • Graphical mappings to CPI Message Mappings
    • Java mappings to Groovy scripts
    • XSLT mappings to reusable CPI artifacts
  • Configure and work with integration adapters (IDoc, SOAP, REST, SFTP, OData)
  • Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring frameworks
  • Optimize integration performance for cloud environments
  • Work with SAP Cloud Connector for on-premise connectivity
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams for end-to-end integration
  • Ensure best practices in security, governance, and transport management
  • Support testing, deployment, and post-go-live stabilization

Required Qualifications:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in SAP Integration with strong PI/PO and CPI exposure
  • Strong experience in SAP PI/PO (ESR, ID, mappings, adapters)
  • Hands-on experience in SAP CPI / Integration Suite
  • Experience in end-to-end migration projects
  • Proficiency in Groovy scripting, Message Mapping, and XSLT
  • Good understanding of XML, JSON, XPath, REST, and SOAP APIs
  • Experience with integration adapters (IDoc, HTTP, SOAP, SFTP, OData)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Good communication skills with stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SAP API Management (APIM), Integration Advisor, and Event Mesh
  • Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD pipelines in SAP BTP
  • Familiarity with transport management (CTS+/TMS)
  • Experience in client-facing roles
  • SAP certifications in SAP Integration Suite/CPI or SAP PI/PO

Key Deliverables:

  • Successful migration of interfaces from PI/PO to CPI
  • Optimized and scalable integration flows with validation
  • Well-documented integration architecture
