Job Description 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer / Global Support Manager to support enterprise-wide SAP initiatives for the State of South Carolina. This role will be part of a fast-paced development team responsible for supporting and modernizing the statewide ERP system utilized across finance, budgeting, grants management, logistics, procurement, HR, and payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ABAP development, configuration, tuning, and administration for SAP FI, Treasury, and Logistics modules.
• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide SAP solutions and integrations.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to support SAP software programs and applications.
• Perform SAP analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, testing, enhancement development, and issue resolution.
• Develop technical documentation, functional specifications, training materials, and test scripts.
• Support upgrades, OSS Notes, support packs, and SAP enhancement implementations.
• Participate in system architecture planning, implementation roadmaps, and hardware specification discussions.
• Develop and execute unit testing and support production deployments.
• Mentor junior team members on SAP programming concepts, tools, and development standards.
• Provide after-hours production support as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP solution architecture experience.
• 10+ years of SAP ABAP software analysis, design, and development experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SAP ECC FI module.
• Strong experience with SAP Web Application Server and Object-Oriented ABAP programming.
• Extensive experience with:
  • ABAP Unit
  • Shared Memory Objects
  • ABAP Objects
  • WebDynpro Applications
  • BAPI/RFC
  • SAP Enhancement Framework
  • ABAP Workbench
• 10+ years of experience with SAP upgrades, OSS Notes, support packs, and troubleshooting.
• Strong experience in SAP Public Sector environments.
• Experience with integration technologies including:
  • SAP PI
  • SAP Cloud Platform Integration
  • SOA
  • IDOCs
  • SOAP & REST Web Services
  • File Interface Techniques
• Experience developing business requirements, configuring SAP functionality, and supporting full project lifecycle implementations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with WRICEF development in ECC 6.0, SRM, and BW.
• Experience supporting full lifecycle SAP implementations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, Visio, and Project.
• S4HANA implementation experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
