In our Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit, youll help ensure critical materials flow where theyre needed most. Based in Wendell, NC, this role keeps our operations running smoothly so communities and industries can thrive.

Location: Wendell, NC
Shift: 3:00PM 11:30PM
Hourly Rate: $19.00 + $1.50 shift differential

A day in the life

Your shift begins with a safety check. Youll climb into a stand-up reach truck or order picker and navigate busy aisles to unload inbound materials. Receipts are posted in SAP with precision. As orders drop, youll pick with an RF scanner, stage and package parts for internal teams and external customers, and load outbound shipments with the right paperwork for drivers. Between moves, youll verify counts, tidy storage locations, and spot process improvements that keep us fast and safe. Small hand toolsbattery, electric, and air-poweredare part of the toolkit.

What youll handle

  • Operate stand-up reach trucks, order pickers (cherry pickers), and sit-down forklifts in tight aisles and high-traffic zones
  • Receive, record, and store production materials accurately in SAP
  • Pick with RF scanners for both internal and external customers; perform cycle counts and verifications
  • Pack to prevent damage, prepare documentation, and load carriers
  • Use small hand tools (battery, electrical, and pneumatic)
  • Follow standard work and safety procedures; proactively suggest improvements
  • Work independently with urgency and sharp attention to detail; take on other tasks as assigned

What youll bring

Basic qualifications

  • 3+ years in materials management/warehousing
  • 2+ years operating forklifts, order pickers, and stand-up equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic English skills (read/write/speak)
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

Preferred qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Hands-on experience with SAP
  • Comfort with RF scanners
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
