Title: SAP FICO Consultant
Location: Riverwoods, IL

customer suggested to share profiles with 15+ years of experience. SAP FI/CO with RTR Lead Role. Need to have some breadth in terms of other SAP modules, such as MM, RTR. (Not expected to config MM, RTR, but conceptual knowledge of it.)
Job Description for SAP FI/CO RTR:
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in SAP Finance with RTR module.
Lead end-to-end RTR process design, including GL, Allocations, Period-End Closing, Asset Accounting, and Financial Consolidation
Experience with implementation experience with clients in Europe, USA, and/or other countries.
Experience with ECC and S4 HANA, Brown field conversion from ECC to S4 HANA experience preferred
Responsibilities:
Configure and support SAP FI/CO area like GL, AA, AR/AP, Bank Accounting and Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing
Manage month-end / quarter-end / year-end close activities in SAP
Work with Fiori apps related to Finance and RTR processes
Work closely with Customers
Conduct design sessions, interact with business users, user training etc.
Work with internal Wolters Kluwer clients to define their business requirements, evaluate alternative solutions, streamline business processes, and provide critical insight into the feasibility and business benefit of proposed SAP FICO solutions and projects
SAP configuration expert in SAP FICO Modules which includes but are not limited to the following--AP, FSCM Credit Management, GL, New GL, Asset, Profit Center Accounting, ·Cost Center Accounting, COPA, Revenue Recognition, Allocations, Product Costing, Foreign Currency, Electronic Bank statements, Multiple Companies and Tax accounting.
Familiar with GAAP and IFRS guidelines and its associated SAP functions.
Strong cross functional working experience with OTC and P2P functions.
Analysis, planning, logical and physical design, configuration, testing, implementation, documentation, training and support of SAP FICO solutions and related interfaces.
Design, Develop and Implement technical design/solutions for initiatives (new projects, enhancements and issues resolution) for our SAP implementation supporting various business units.
Communicates the impacts of new requirements in terms of effort, time and cost based on a solid understanding of current requirements and established technical configuration and functional business process built in SAP
Participate in developing, distributing, and coordinating in-depth end-user reviews for modified and new systems or applications.
Should be able to have some overlap with the teams working in Europe/USA
