We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Lead with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, along with a solid understanding of financial management principles. This role is a contractor position that requires a proactive individual who can lead projects and collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP FICO solutions tailored to the pharmaceutical sector.
• Manage and oversee AP and AR processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
• Identify and resolve issues related to financial processes and SAP functionalities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and SAP advancements to recommend improvements and innovations.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience in SAP FICO with a focus on financial management.
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a must.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial reporting and compliance standards in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Project management experience, including Agile methodologies.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and provide training on SAP FICO functionalities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10 15 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO, specifically within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Professional certifications in SAP or financial management are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
