SAP GRC Security Architect

The Opportunity

SAP GRC Security Architect at a growth-oriented energy company

Play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our SAP systems.

Be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security strategies, SAP roles, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Help maintain a secure and efficient SAP environment that supports our business processes and objectives.

Reporting to the Director Integration, you will provide exemplary customer service to our clients by collaborating with various business units to ensure SAP security best practices are integrated into all processes.

Key activities include:

Design, develop, and maintain SAP security roles and authorizations with a focus on current SAP ECC landscape to meet business needs and compliance requirements and S4 HANA migration experience to lead future migration.

Conduct regular system audits to detect deviations from established policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with various teams to understand business requirements and ensure that SAP security strategies align with business objectives and IT security policies.

Manage and implement continuous process and design improvements in SAP Control Panel, GRC Governance, Risk, and Compliance modules, including User Access Reviews, Risk Management, and Fire Fighter Provisioning.

Develop and maintain documentation related to SAP security policies, procedures, and role designs.

Provide expert guidance on SAP security best practices, risk management, and compliance strategies.

Manage incident response for SAP security-related issues, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.

Train and mentor team members on SAP security concepts, tools, and techniques.

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have:

Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Additional qualifications include:

Bachelors degree in computer science, information security, or a related field required.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field required.

Proven experience in SAP Security Architecture required.

Deep understanding of SAP security concepts, role design, GRC, and compliance management required.

Experience with SAP HANA, S4 HANA, and FIORI security models required.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to information security and data protection, e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR, SOX required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities required.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and with stakeholders from different functional areas required.

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment required.

Certifications in SAP Security and/or GRC are preferred.

Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and high standards preferred.
