Role Description

• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP S/4HANA Finance for Group Reporting.

• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and continuous improvement of SAP Group Reporting solutions.

• Gather and analyze business requirements from Finance and other stakeholders.

• Maintain and configure master data elements and reporting hierarchies.

• Integrate SAP Group Reporting with other SAP modules and feeder systems.

• Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable financial consolidation processes.

• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to maintain system stability and performance.

Must-Have Technical and Functional Skills

• Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) and financial reporting dashboards.

• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.

• Familiarity with IFRS 18 reporting standards.

• SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP Group Reporting.

• Experience working in a global, multi-entity consolidation environment.

• Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Group Reporting functionality.

• Experience with financial consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, and elimination processes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day AMS support for SAP Group Reporting, including incident management, problem resolution, and change requests in accordance with SLA commitments.

• Configure and maintain SAP Group Reporting objects, including:

  • Consolidation units

  • Versions

  • Reporting hierarchies

  • Elimination rules

  • Currency translation methods

• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.

• Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.

• Collaborate with Finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions.

• Manage and resolve tickets through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.

• Support integration between SAP Group Reporting and the SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal.

• Support integration with other SAP modules and external feeder systems.

• Participate in SAP Group Reporting upgrades, patches, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Conduct unit testing and regression testing.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system changes.

• Maintain functional and technical documentation, including configuration guides, test scripts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

• Support intercompany reconciliation, eliminations, and financial reporting processes.

• Work with SAP Analysis for Office and reporting tools for data analysis and visualization.

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the AMS team.

• Stay up to date with SAP product roadmaps and emerging Group Reporting capabilities.
