Reporting to the Functional Application Architect, the SAP HCM Functional Analyst plays a key role in ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant HCM and US payroll operations by partnering with HR, Payroll, and Finance to configure, optimize, and support SAP HCM and Payroll within the SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors systems. Your Role in Building What Matters – From Office to Site Configure, optimize, and support SAP HCM and US Payroll within SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors to ensure efficient, accurate and compliant payroll processing Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into solutions Maintain and enhance HCM and payroll configuration, including schemas, rules, wage types, and integrations across HCM, Finance, and third-party systems Analyze and resolve payroll issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support payroll cycles and year-end activities Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, process enhancements, and providing training and documentation for end users The Right Tools for the Job Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience : 5+ years of hands-on SAP HCM configuration experience with a strong focus on US Payroll, including US federal, state, and local payroll tax rules, garnishments, deductions and compliance requirements. Proficiency in SAP Payroll schemas, rules, features, and PCR design. Software : Experience with SAP HCM Payroll (US Payroll), SAP HCM sub-modules: Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), as well as BSI Tax Factory, Tax Locator, and third-party payroll integrations.
