SAP Manufacturing Execution, Material Staging & MES Interface Consultant

Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ – Hybrid
Travel: Must be willing and able to travel weekly to the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP ECC Consultant with strong expertise in Manufacturing Execution, Material Staging, SAP PP, WM, and MES interfaces. The consultant will support manufacturing execution and shop-floor operations, material flow, production order management, and integration between SAP ECC and MES systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support SAP ECC PP processes for manufacturing execution, production order management, and shop-floor operations.
• Configure and support production order creation, release, confirmation, goods issue, and goods receipt processes.
• Manage material staging from warehouse to production lines using WM transfer requirements, transfer orders, and replenishment processes.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to optimize component availability, line-side inventory, and material flow.
• Support integration between SAP ECC and MES systems for real-time production reporting and shop-floor data collection.
• Analyze and resolve interface issues related to production orders, confirmations, material consumption, and inventory transactions.
• Work with technical teams on IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and middleware-based integrations between SAP ECC and MES applications.
• Participate in business process improvements for manufacturing execution, warehouse operations, and inventory accuracy.
• Create functional specifications and support SIT/UAT testing, defect resolution, and end-user training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Production, Warehouse, Quality, Planning, and IT to ensure stable manufacturing operations and continuous process improvement.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with SAP ECC PP.
• Experience in Manufacturing Execution and Production Order Management.
• Strong understanding of Material Staging and SAP WM processes.
• Experience with MES integration and shop-floor systems.
• Knowledge of IDoc, BAPI, RFC, and middleware integrations.
• Experience with SIT/UAT, functional specifications, defect resolution, and testing.
• Strong understanding of production, warehouse, inventory, and material-flow processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
