Mars is seeking a MDG ABAP Developer to join our team for the high-priority TPM Mexico project. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions using ABAP. You will play a crucial role in ensuring data integrity, seamless integration, and optimized master data workflows to support our business operations in the region.
Key Responsibilities- MDG Development: Design and develop SAP MDG solutions (custom data models, UI modeling using Web Dynpro/Floorplan Manager, and process modeling).
- ABAP Programming: Write high-quality, optimized ABAP code, including OO-ABAP, BAdIs, User Exits, and BAPIs tailored to MDG requirements.
- Workflow Configuration: Implement and customize SAP Business Workflows and Rule-Based Workflows (BRF+) for master data approval processes.
- Integration & Data Mapping: Manage data replication framework (DRF) and configure IDocs/Web Services to integrate MDG with TPM and other peripheral SAP/non-SAP systems.
- Collaboration & Support: Partner with functional analysts, business stakeholders, and the local Mexico project team to translate business requirements into robust technical specifications.
Key Qualifications- Experience: experience in SAP MDG development and strong proficiency in SAP ABAP.
- Technical Skills: * Deep understanding of MDG Data Modeling, UI Modeling, and Process Modeling.
- Hands-on experience with BRF+, Web Dynpro ABAP, and Floorplan Manager (FPM).
- Strong knowledge of SAP standard master data domains (e.g., Customer, Vendor, Material, or Financials).
- Project Context: Experience working on integration projects involving Trade Promotion Management (TPM) or Latin American localization is a significant plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong collaboration abilities within a global shared-services environment, and professional proficiency in English (Spanish is a strong asset for the Mexico project scope).
