X 5 DaysPosition SummaryThe TECO Energy Internship & Cooperative Education Program offers college degree‑seeking students the opportunity for professional growth while meeting the business needs of the company. We are seeking a motivated Computer Science student for a Summer Internship to support the design, analysis, and implementation of customer‑centric capabilities within the SAP Customer Relationship and Billing (CRB) platform as part of ongoing SAP modernization initiatives. The role will provide exposure to SAP CRB modules (CS, Billing, FICA, Device Management) and help enable improvements in customer service processes, system integration, and digital customer experience.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Experience Support – Assist in documenting and analyzing Customer Experience processes, including customer service interactions, billing and invoicing workflows, move‑in/move‑out journeys, and support initiatives to improve customer engagement, self‑service adoption, and process efficiency.SAP CRB Functional Support – Provide support across SAP CRB modules such as Customer Service (CS), Billing & Invoicing, and FICA; gather and document business requirements and functional specifications; support process validation activities.SAP Modernization & Transformation Exposure – Participate in SAP S/4HANA transformation initiatives, support process improvement and harmonization activities, future‑state architecture documentation, and gain exposure to Fiori applications and digital customer experience tools.Integration & Data Flow Understanding – Assist in analyzing data flows between systems (AMI/MDM/EDM), SAP CRB modules, and document integration flows and dependencies; learn about APIs and middleware such as Boomi and SAP CPI.Customer Operations Support – Assist Customer Experience teams with system changes in SAP CRB, process updates impacting Contact Center and Customer Service operations, and support testing and validation activities for customer service processes and billing scenarios.Training & Documentation – Help create and update training materials, user guides, and process documentation; support training sessions for Customer Experience stakeholders; document new SAP CRB features and dashboards.QualificationsEducation: Enrolled in an accredited university as a college undergraduate or graduate in a related discipline (Engineering). GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale required.Co‑Op Requirements: Enrollment in the university's co‑op program (proof of enrollment required) or considered an intern if not eligible.Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Basic understanding of customer experience processes and billing lifecycle; foundational knowledge of SAP CRB / IS‑U modules including CS, Billing & Invoicing, FICA, Device Management; awareness of Meter‑to‑Cash processes and data flows; understanding of enterprise systems and integration concepts (AMI/MDM/EDM, APIs, middleware); familiarity with SAP modernization initiatives (ECC to S/4HANA) and digital transformation goals; interest in AI, automation, customer experience technologies; strong analytical, problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills; eagerness to learn new technologies.Working ConditionsPhysical location: 3600 Midtown Dr, Tampa.
