SAP P2P Lead

Location: Seattle, WA – Hybrid

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP P2P Lead to lead Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functional initiatives, SAP MM implementations, rollouts, and support projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across SAP Materials Management, end-to-end P2P processes, SAP S/4HANA, functional team leadership, and large-scale SAP implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full systems lifecycle from requirements gathering through implementation of SAP MM/P2P functional solutions.

• Lead and manage functional teams supporting SAP implementation, rollout, support, and maintenance projects within the Procure-to-Pay functional area.

• Work closely with business stakeholders and clients to ensure high-quality functional deliverables and successful project outcomes.

• Lead user requirements gathering, blueprinting, functional design, and documentation.

• Analyze business requirements and prepare functional designs and specifications.

• Configure SAP solutions based on business requirements and functional specifications.

• Perform and coordinate functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.

• Understand configuration dependencies and integration points between SAP MM and other SAP functional modules.

• Provide expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving cross-functional SAP issues.

• Apply project management and delivery expertise to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize costs.

• Lead SAP project delivery activities while maintaining project quality, timelines, and business objectives.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to functional team members.

• Support SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA implementation and support activities.

• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of functional experience with SAP Materials Management (MM), including:

  • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Purchasing

  • Service Management

  • Inventory Management

  • Invoice Verification

• 10+ years of SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) end-to-end implementation experience.

• Proven experience managing and leading large SAP teams and/or SAP projects.

• 8+ years of experience in SAP delivery roles, leading teams or delivery projects.

• 8+ years of SAP configuration experience.

• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting SAP ERP solutions.

• Experience with at least 5 full life-cycle (FLC) large-scale SAP implementations.

• Strong understanding of SAP project delivery methodologies.

• Extensive experience within management consulting or consulting services environments.

• Strong understanding of SAP MM configuration and P2P business processes.

• Strong understanding of SAP integration dependencies and cross-functional processes.

• Excellent analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Skills

• 8+ years of client-facing consulting experience.

• 8+ years of experience with SAP integration points and understanding of the sequence in which integrations and processes should be executed.

• Experience implementing SAP Fiori applications.

• SAP S/4HANA certification(s).

• Experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout programs.
