About the Job

You will be aligned with our long-standing client in the SAP Performance Engineer The candidate should be aware of the latest trends in this industry as are applicable from a domain and technological perspective

Job title: SAP Performance Engineer
Location: Austin, TX (Day 1 onsite)

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Define, develop, and apply performance/scalability benchmarks.
- Debug and improve system performance/scalability in cross-functional teams.
- Use profiling tools to identify bottlenecks and conduct root cause analysis.
- Devise experiments to evaluate system performance impacts.
- Plan and execute performance tests in automated environments and analyze results.
- Participate in architecture/design reviews for cross-team quality assurance.
Must-Have:
- 3+ years in software testing with strong SAP performance testing experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++.
- Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, and SQL performance tuning.
- Hands-on JVM tuning and profiling tools (Dynatrace, AppDynamics).
Nice-to-Have:
- Agile/Scrum experience, Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), SAP BTP optimization, machine learning, Git.
- Knowledge of SDI, SCP iOS SDK, database monitoring tools (Kibana, HANA DB cockpit).
Education: Bachelor’s in Math/CS/Engineering. AWS/GCP certifications preferred.
