Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

As the SAP Plant Maintenance functional, you will manage the design, development and implementation of SAP Plant Maintenance projects and new functionalities within the Leo Enterprise Systems (ERP : S4 HANA) that allow for the rapid development and production of Space Hardware and reliability of equipment used to manufacture the same. The implementation of these systems are critical to scalability and cost effective business operations.

Key job responsibilities

Build SAP PM based solution and handle all the deployment related activities. Build reports and deploy.

Ability to identify and implement best practices to optimize business processes using SAP and championing for utility/intuitiveness/simplicity of process/product

Participate in blueprint workshops, fit-gap analysis and produce detailed design documents reasoning from core needs, reasoning from core needs, challenging assumptions

Support creating training documentation for product users and lead train the trainer sessions for Product changes

Participate in strategic planning, roadmap discussions for SAP solutions including contributions to Amazon 1yr annual planning

Manage sprint planning, deployment for product feature enhancements bringing in business value, business impact and reasoning.

Defining critical metrics including - success metrics, product adoption, data driven insights into product improvement

Prepare product design, functional specifications, configure, test and support implementation for all SAP RICEFW areas

Build and support integration with cross-workstream processes - SAP PP, QM, EWM, MM, SAP MES system

Support SAP Production system for ticket resolutions, business support needs, understanding product improvement opportunities

A day in the life

You will conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and improvements for any bugs witnessed in production. Collaborate with functional owners, architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing and maintenance. Develop functional specification and estimations for assigned projects. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner.

Develop Business requirements documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FS) and review test documentation. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner.

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
