SAP S4 HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) Lead – Automotive Plant Launch - Hybrid
Role Summary
DXC is seeking an experienced SAP S4 HANA Plant Maintenance (PM) Lead to support an automotive organization in the design, deployment, and stabilization of SAP PM capabilities for a greenfield manufacturing plant. This role is hands-on and onsite, working directly with maintenance teams to transition from interim processes (e.g., Excel-based tracking) to a fully integrated SAP PM environment aligned with plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
PM Implementation & Execution
- Lead configuration and deployment of SAP PM for plant operations in at least one S4 HANA implementation
- Translate existing templates into plant-specific execution models
- Define and implement functional locations, equipment master data, maintenance plans, and work order processes
Shop Floor Enablement
- Work onsite with maintenance teams to guide system usage and validate workflows
- Replace manual processes with SAP-based execution
Integration with Operations
- Align PM with spare parts, procurement, and warehouse operations
- Support integration with external MRO systems
Validation & Readiness
- Support pre-production validation of maintenance processes
- Ensure PM supports commissioning and ramp-up
Hypercare Support
- Provide hands-on support during ramp-up (3–6 months)
- Troubleshoot issues impacting uptime and maintenance execution
Required Experience
- 8–12+ years SAP Plant Maintenance experience
- Automotive or manufacturing plant experience
- Experience with plant startup or major rollout
- Strong knowledge of maintenance operations and MRO processes
