Position: SAP PP/PM Consultant with TOSCA

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 12 Month Contract

Rate: $70-$72/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP PP/PM Consultant to support and enhance SAP Production Planning (PP) and Plant Maintenance (PM) processes. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical teams to analyze requirements, configure SAP solutions, and support implementations and ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, implement, and support SAP PP and PM modules.

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.

• Configure SAP PP processes including:

• Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

• Production Orders

• Work Centers

• Routings

• Bills of Materials (BOM)

• Demand Management

• Capacity Planning

• Configure and support SAP PM processes including:

• Equipment and Functional Locations

• Maintenance Notifications

• Maintenance Orders

• Preventive Maintenance

• Work Management

• Maintenance Plans

• Integrate PP/PM with SAP MM, SD, QM, FI/CO, and other relevant modules.

• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and enhancement projects.

• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and coordinate with ABAP teams.

• Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis and resolution.

• Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment.

• Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.

• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live, and post-production activities.

• Work with offshore/onshore teams and business stakeholders in an Agile/project environment.

• Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing and maintenance processes using SAP best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PP and PM.
• Experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and plant maintenance business processes.
• Experience with SAP master data such as BOMs, routings, work centers, equipment, and functional locations.
• Experience with MRP, production planning, production execution, and maintenance management.
• Strong integration knowledge across PP, PM, MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO.
• Experience with SAP implementation and production support projects.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
