SAP PP/QM Consultant Sr.
We are looking for a mid-level SAP Production Planning functional consultant who can own the PP / PP-DS work-stream on S/4HANA projects and deliver tangible value on the shop floor. The role spans new implementations, roll-outs, process improvements, and post-go-live support for our multi-plant manufacturing landscape.
* Lead or co-lead PP & PP-DS solution design during Discover / Explore phases (fit-gap, RICEFW identification).
* Configure and test core PP objects: Material Master, BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, Planning Strategies, MRP-Live, Demand Management, Capacity Planning, Kanban, Repetitive Manufacturing.
* Enable advanced planning (PP-DS): heuristics, detailed scheduling, pegging, sequencing, capacity levelling.
* Develop functional specifications for WRICEF objects, Fiori apps and CDS views; partner with ABAP / UI5 teams to build and test.
* Integrate PP with MM, SD, QM, PM, EWM/WM and external MES systems via IDoc, RFC, OData or CPI.
* Drive data migration activities (LTMC / Migration Cockpit / BODS) for material, BOM, routing, work center and planning data.
* Author and execute unit, string, SIT and UAT test scripts; record issues in HP-ALM / Solution Manager.
* Support cut-over planning, go-live preparation, hyper-care and transition to Application Support.
* Deliver end-user training (classroom, e-learning, SAP Enable Now) and create SOPs / job aids.
* Analyse existing production processes, recommend best-practice S/4HANA improvements, and quantify business benefits.
* Provide Level-2 / Level-3 application support; meet SLA targets and coordinate defect resolution.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, Activate methodology accelerators and template governance documents.
* 6-10 years hands-on configuration and support experience in SAP PP/QM; minimum 2 full-cycle implementations.
* Minimum 2 years of project experience on SAP S/4HANA (1610 or higher) including MRP-Live; familiarity with Fiori.
* Solid manufacturing domain knowledge- shop-floor execution, BOM / routing management, capacity planning, Kanban, variants.
* Proven experience integrating PP with at least two satellite modules (MM, SD, QM, PM, EWM) and external MES / shop-floor systems.
* Strong skills creating functional specs, performing data analysis in HANA, writing queries (CDS/SQL) and using debugging tools for issue isolation.
* Working knowledge of SAP Activate or Agile-Scrum delivery methodology.
* Excellent communication skills-able to translate business processes into system solutions and to explain SAP concepts to non-technical users.
* Bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems or related field.
* SAP S/4HANA PP or PP-DS certification (C_TS422 - latest version).
* Experience with Demand Driven MRP (DD-MRP) or advanced ATP (aATP).
* Exposure to SAP IBP, EPPM or APO decommission projects.
* Familiarity with SAP Enable Now, Tricentis TOSCA, Jira / Azure DevOps for agile tracking.
* APICS CPIM or CSCP, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma Green Belt.
* Experience in FDA / GMP or automotive IATF 16949 regulated environments.
