Export Control Requirement:

Our team focuses on building Enterprise Application systems for manufacturing satellites. Your customers are Manufacturing, Operations and the Supply Chain teams at Amazon Leo.

As the SAP Manufacturing expert you would design solutions, enhance and support SAP Production Planning and Quality management modules. And work closely in integration with SAP EWM and SAP Manufacturing execution systems. The enhancement and support of these systems is critical to scalability and cost-effective manufacturing of satellites and ground gateway terminals. To be successful you need to be highly motivated, detail oriented and effective communicator.

Key job responsibilities

    • Build SAP PP based product features aligning with product vision
  • Ability to identify and implement best practices to optimize business processes using SAP and championing for utility/intuitiveness/simplicity of process/product
  • Participate in blueprint workshops, fit-gap analysis and produce detailed design documents reasoning from core needs, reasoning from core needs, challenging assumptions
  • Support creating training documentation for product users and lead train the trainer sessions for Product changes
  • Participate in strategic planning, roadmap discussions for SAP PP QM solutions including contributions to Amazon 1yr annual planning
  • Manage sprint planning, deployment for product feature enhancements bringing in business value, business impact and reasoning.
  • Defining critical metrics including - success metrics, product adoption, data driven insights into product improvement
  • Prepare product design, functional specifications, configure, test and support implementation for all SAP RICEFW areas
  • Build and support integration with cross-workstream processes - SAP PP, EWM, MM, SAP MES system
  • Support SAP Production system for ticket resolutions, business support needs, understanding product improvement opportunities
  • Team player, ready to share and contribute to collective success of the team

Amazon Leo Enterprise Applications team owns and manages mission critical enterprise systems (ERP) for satellite manufacturing. These systems play a critical role for end-to-end supply chain lifecycle for satellite manufacturing and satellite launch operations. This team supports business processes for demand planning, procurement, supplier collaboration, trade compliance, transportation, warehouse management, quality management, production planning, manufacturing, manufacturing execution, and finance and controlling. The team builds solutions that provide critical traceability information, tracks financial data, support business reporting needs, and scales with our growing business.
