SAP Production Support Specialist

Introduction

BlueOval Battery Park Michigan is a plant helping power the next generation of vehicles. As a specialist in SAP production support, you will coordinate SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud initiatives across BOBM's business functions. The role involves bringing structure, visibility, and rapid issue resolution to a fast-moving, multi-workstream environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP ERP (S/4HANA) and 10 years of leading end-to-end IT project management.
• Experience in L1/production support, incident management, and use of SAP Cloud ALM (CALM), ServiceNow, and JIRA.
• Proficiency in accounting, treasury, banking, master data management, purchasing and supplier integrations, API/interface management, ASN, and middleware platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Prior work experience in automotive/battery manufacturing operations.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• SAP Activate methodology or project management certification.
• SAP certification(s) in Security, GRC, FICO, S/4HANA, or related modules.
• Experience with ITIL-based incident/problem/change management frameworks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Serve as the primary point of contact for BOBM IT L1 support activities across the SAP S/4HANA production environment.
• Manage end-to-end support workflows in JIRA, ServiceNow, and CALM—managing tickets and backlogs, prioritizing by severity and business impact.
• Assist BOBM finance team with month-end close activities, intercompany transactions, and other financial processes.
• Support SAP integration efforts across master data management, purchasing, supplier interfaces, and other processes.
• Support BOBM SAP training and certification tracking, coordinate job aid availability, and schedule training sessions across workstreams.
