SAP L1 Production Support Specialist (SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud)

Location: BlueOval Battery Park Michigan (BOBM)

Schedule: Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required

BlueOval Battery Park Michigan (BOBM) is seeking an experienced SAP L1 Production Support Specialist to support and coordinate SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud operations across multiple business functions, including Finance, Purchasing, Master Data Management, HR, Supply Chain, Warehouse Operations, Banking, and Supplier Collaboration. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong SAP production support, incident management, and project coordination experience who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

SAP Production Support & Incident Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP S/4HANA production support activities.
• Manage and prioritize support tickets and incidents using JIRA, ServiceNow, and SAP Cloud ALM (CALM).
• Ensure SLA compliance and coordinate escalations to L2/L3 support teams.
• Investigate issues, document root causes, and drive timely resolution.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and scorecards to track incidents, support performance, and key operational metrics.

Finance & Business Process Support

• Support month-end close activities and finance-related SAP processes.
• Assist with accounting, treasury, banking, intercompany transactions, and related financial operations.
• Support integrations involving purchasing, supplier interfaces, master data management, APIs, middleware platforms, and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) processes.
• Assist with SAP Identity and Access Management, including user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access modifications.

Training & User Enablement

• Coordinate SAP training schedules and certification tracking.
• Maintain training materials and job aids for end users.
• Create reporting and dashboards to monitor training completion and user readiness across business workstreams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP ERP/SAP S/4HANA experience.

• 10+ years of IT project management experience leading complex technology initiatives.

• Experience supporting SAP S/4HANA production environments and managing incidents.

• Minimum one full lifecycle implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

• Strong experience with:

• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

• SAP Cloud ALM (CALM)

• JIRA and ServiceNow

• SAP ERP

• API and middleware integrations

• Master Data Management (MDM)

• Purchasing and supplier integrations

• Finance, treasury, banking, and accounting processes

• Proven ability to develop dashboards, scorecards, and KPI reporting.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Activate Methodology or Project Management certification.
• SAP certifications in S/4HANA, Security, GRC, FICO, or related areas.
• Experience with ITIL incident, problem, and change management practices.
• Experience in automotive, battery manufacturing, or large-scale manufacturing environments.
• Familiarity with BOBM workstreams and SAP Cloud ALM.
