Job Summary (List Format):

- Role: SAP SD/MM Functional Consultant
- Location: Ann Arbor, MI (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite required)
- Duration: 3 Months (with likely extension)

Core Responsibilities:
- Lead hands-on configuration, testing, and solution design for SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules.
- Conduct business workshops, requirements gathering, blueprinting, and fit-gap analysis for SD/MM processes.
- Support analytics and reporting projects (functional focus) using both SAP and non-SAP data.
- Create and maintain functional specifications for SD, MM, analytics, and integrations.
- Collaborate with business partners and guide them through solution options and process impacts.
- Independently manage incoming requests and deliverables for multiple small projects.
- Troubleshoot functional issues and work closely with technical teams as needed.
- Engage directly with US-based stakeholders; strong communication required.

Required Experience & Skills:
- 10 15 years SAP experience across both SD and MM modules (not just one).
- Minimum 5 7 years of recent US-based SAP project experience.
- Proven, hands-on configuration expertise in SD/MM on S/4HANA, including Order-to-Cash, sales order management, procurement flows, and master data.
- Strong understanding of SD-MM integration (stock transport, intercompany flows, delivery & billing integration).
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA (required), including Fiori apps and relevant data model changes.
- Exposure to analytics/reporting projects (requirements/design).
- Experience with interfaces (EDI, B2B, 3rd-party integrations) and ability to write/validate functional specifications.
- Working knowledge of SAP CRM and CRM SD integrations is a plus.
- Excellent client-facing, verbal, and written communication skills.

- Strong leadership in discussions and ability to drive clarity with business teams.
- Highly proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
- Able to independently manage workload and priorities.

Not a Fit For:
- Consultants focused only on support (not configuration).
- Solution architects who do not perform hands-on configuration.
- Candidates lacking analytics exposure.
- Those unwilling to be onsite 2 3 days per week.
- Candidates with expertise in only SD or only MM (must have both).
