SAP Programmer Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking an SAP Analyst Programmer II with strong technical expertise in ABAP (v7.60) and exposure to modern SAP development frameworks such as CDS, CAP, and AMDP. The role will focus initially on technical programming within SAP (primarily QM) while also providing training on PP needs. Over time, this position will evolve into a Techno-Functional role, giving the candidate the opportunity to expand into broader functional responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain ABAP programs, utilities, reports, and enhancements in SAP (QM module focus).
• Leverage modern SAP frameworks (CDS views, CAP model, AMDP) to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
• Analyze user requirements and create technical design documentation including program flow charts, database tables, and integration details.
• Conduct testing (unit, integration, and system), debug issues, and collaborate with QA testers to ensure quality outcomes.
• Support business users through training, documentation, and technical guidance.
• Partner with IT and business teams to transition into a techno-functional role over time, including exposure to SAP PP.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and organizational policies across SAP systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience (preferably with v7.60).
• Strong skills in modern SAP technologies: CDS, CAP, AMDP.
• Solid understanding of database design and programming concepts.
• Familiarity with SAP QM processes (functional training will be provided where needed).
• Desire and ability to expand into techno-functional responsibilities (PP and beyond).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
