SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Solution Architect

We are seeking a senior SAP S/4HANA Enterprise Solution Architect to support a strategic ERP Discovery and Platform Assessment for a leading North American Consumer Products company.

The engagement will evaluate SAP S/4HANA versus Microsoft Dynamics 365 across business, technology, architecture, scalability, and operating model requirements. This is a discovery and assessment engagement, not an implementation project.

The architect will act as the SAP lead during the assessment, working alongside a D365 Solution Architect and supported by specialist functional SMEs from offshore.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA assessment and positioning throughout the discovery phase.

• Conduct executive and business workshops with client stakeholders.

• Evaluate SAP S/4HANA fit against future-state business requirements and growth objectives.

• Lead fit-to-standard discussions, primarily across:

• Supply Chain Planning

• Procurement

• Manufacturing

• Inventory & Logistics

• Sales / Order-to-Cash

• Assess architecture, integration, scalability, and operating model implications.

• Collaborate with Finance, Trade Promotion, Data, and Functional SMEs.

• Contribute to platform recommendation, implementation roadmap, ROM estimates, risks, and executive decision materials.

• Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Required Experience

• 15+ years of SAP experience.

• 3+ SAP S/4HANA programs as Solution Architect, Enterprise Architect, or Lead Architect.

• Strong background in Consumer Products, FMCG, Manufacturing, or Distribution.

• Deep expertise in:

• Supply Chain Planning

• Manufacturing

• Procurement

• Working knowledge of:

• Sales / Order-to-Cash

• Distribution

• Enterprise Integration

• Experience leading business workshops and executive discussions.

• Ability to assess ERP platforms at an enterprise level rather than from a configuration perspective.

Preferred Experience

• ERP selection or platform assessment engagements.
• SAP Public Cloud and SAP BTP exposure.
• Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 capabilities.
• Experience with large-scale transformation programs in Consumer Products organizations.

Ideal Profile

A senior SAP Enterprise Architect who can engage confidently with business and technology leaders, lead discovery workshops, evaluate SAP against D365, and develop a fact-based platform recommendation. Deep expertise in Supply Chain and Manufacturing is essential, while specialist Finance, Trade Promotion, and functional SMEs will provide supporting domain expertise.
