Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Finance Functional configuration and will be responsible for leading the configuration and implementation of SAP FICO solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Responsibilities:
Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Provide expert guidance on SAP Finance Functional best practices and methodologies.
Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.
Support end users through training and troubleshooting, ensuring a smooth transition to new systems and processes.
Stay updated on SAP FICO developments and enhancements, recommending improvements to existing systems.
Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications effectively.
Mandatory Skills:
Proven experience in SAP Finance Functional configuration and implementation.
Strong understanding of financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).
Familiarity with financial reporting tools and techniques.
Certifications in SAP FICO or related fields.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in SAP FICO configuration and implementation.
Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
