Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
SAP S/4 HANA SD Functional Consultant with minimum 10+ years of experience of implementing SAP S4, preferably for a USA based manufacturing company
Proficiency in SAP's standard implementation framework and hands-on experience in designing and implementation of complex and heterogeneous landscape (SAP and non-SAP)
Experience in conducting workshops with business users for process analysis, design and configuration needs pertaining to SD functionalities
SAP product knowledge in specific process areas such as:
o Production Execution
o Sales Order Processing
o Customer Master setup
o Account Determination
o Delivery Processing (shipping, shipment). Integration to EWM / TM preferred
o Customer Invoicing including revenue recognition
o Integration knowledge between Sales and other functional areas with specific reference to production and material movement / logistics
Hands-on experience in data cleansing and conversion related activities
Cut-Over activities identification and execution along with Go-live and Post Go-Live Support Experience of Integration with Planning system of SAP/non-SAP
Roles & Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis: Gathering site-specific "AS-IS" processes and mapping them to "To-Be" standard SAP workflows
Functional Testing: Conducting unit/integration testing and coordinating user acceptance testing with site business process owners to validate configurations
User Training: Delivering hands-on training sessions and creating localized SOPs and manuals for site staff
Data Migration Support: Assisting with the final validation of cleansed site data before it is loaded into live system
Order to Cash (O2C) localization: Mapping the site's unique sales processes into standard S/4HANA sales document types
USA Tax Integration: Configuring the connection between SAP and external tax engines to ensure accurate Sales & Use Tax calculation for different US jurisdictions
Complex Pricing Logic: Designing and testing pricing procedures that account for bulk discounts, freight surcharges, and regional price lists specific to building materials
Shipping & Transportation Integration: Coordinating with the site's logistics team to manage delivery scheduling, picking lists, and integration with Transportation Management (TM) or external carriers
Credit & Risk Management: Implementing credit limit checks and block/release workflows to manage financial risk for large-scale construction accounts
Direct support for site staff: Providing support to customer service reps and shipping clerks to troubleshoot real-world order issues during first weeks of operation
