This position is eligible for a remote or hybrid work schedule: Home -3 days/Office -2 days.

The Sales and Distribution Processes at Tessco are the some of the most expansive and complex processes implemented in our system and are tightly integrated with our Business and other Teams. As such, the team supporting this module has the most Team Members assigned and the largest backlog of items (Defects and Enhancements) to work through. The SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional Lead will be responsible for the daily coordination and guidance of the SD Functional and Technical Team Members while providing hands-on solutioning and delivery for select objects. The ideal ratio of activity would be 20% Administrative and 80% Hands-On.

Responsibilities:

• Works collaboratively across the SAP Teams, Organization, and Business to remove blockers for the SD Team, clarify requirements or issues, and provide status updates as necessary to the appropriate audiences.
• Prepares and provides regular status updates to the SAP Manager as to the progress of the SD Team on initiatives and issues.
• Prioritizes the day-to-day workload of the SAP SD Team -- including AMS Team Members -- including Enhancements, Defects, and Incidents.
• Represents the SAP SD Team in larger meetings and articulates the details of team initiatives and work items to a broad audience.
• Maintain a high level of functional competency regarding the standard configuration of the Order to Cash area, by staying abreast of new trends, future enhancements and leveraging best practices.
• Mentors the team in the Business Processes of Tessco, how they are implemented in SAP, and background of the solutions to provide a broader perspective to Enhancement Requests and Defects that promotes Knowledge Transfer and higher quality solutions.
• Reviews and provides feedback on Requirement Documents, Functional Specifications, Test Plans, Design Documents, etc. for completeness, clarity, and accuracy so that the solution meets the Tessco Business Requirements.
• Promotes consistency and standardization throughout all applicable areas of the IBD SAP SD Team deliverables and day-to-day processes (such as ServiceDesk Ticket Updates, Change Approval Board Processes, etc.).
• Performs the necessary Deliverables and Work Products associated with hands-on solution delivery for key Enhancements and Defects.
• Significant Contributor to the Sprint Planning and Road Maps of the SAP SD Functionality and Defect remediation.
• Research and document current business processes and provide process improvement recommendations to the business.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Experience with IT Systems in the Value-Added Distribution and/or Manufacturing Business industries
• Demonstrated ability to lead daily Team meetings designed to collaborate on deliverable updates, organize work, and effectively remove blockers
• Proven ability to build trust with the Business and other stakeholders by providing clear communication and meeting or exceeding set expectations on deliverables
• Ability to perform hands-on delivery of SAP Configuration / Development and associated documentation in support of SAP SD Team and / or SAP Team initiatives
• Effective communication skills to articulate complex issues and solutions to a wide audience
• Full Life-Cycle Implementation of SAP S/4 HANA in a SD Module related Role -- Functional, Technical, Subject Matter Expert
• Demonstrated Team and/or Project Leadership Skills
