SAP SD-GTS Lead Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA SD and SAP GTS Lead Consultant / Solution Architect to lead large-scale US-based digital transformation and global trade compliance initiatives.

The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Global Trade Services (GTS) processes across multiple business units while ensuring compliance with US export regulations and global trade requirements.

Strong knowledge of US trade compliance regulations is required.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA SD.
• Strong expertise in SAP GTS.
• Experience leading SAP SD/GTS implementations and transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
• Knowledge of US trade compliance and export regulations.
• Experience with EAR, ITAR, OFAC, and CBP requirements.
• Strong solution architecture and consulting capabilities.
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.

SAP S/4HANA SD Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA SD implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and support engagements.
• Design and implement OTC business processes, including:
  • Customer Master Data
  • Sales Order Processing
  • Pricing & Settlement Management / Rebates
  • Advanced Available-to-Promise (aATP)
  • Credit Management
  • Shipping & Delivery
  • Intercompany Processing
  • Returns Management
  • Billing & Revenue Recognition
• Conduct business workshops with US business stakeholders.
• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP solution designs.
• Define global templates and country/localization requirements.
• Drive process standardization, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure integration of SD processes with other SAP modules and business functions.

SAP GTS Responsibilities

• Lead SAP GTS implementation, enhancement, rollout, and support projects.
• Configure, implement, and support:
  • Compliance Management
  • Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening
  • Embargo Checks
  • Export Control
  • Customs Management
  • Preference Management
  • Legal Control and Regulation Setup
• Support foreign trade and customs compliance processes.
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable US and international trade regulations.
• Work closely with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Translate regulatory requirements into SAP GTS business and technical solutions.

Regulatory & Trade Compliance Knowledge

Strong understanding of the following is required:

• US Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
• International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• OFAC compliance requirements
• US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations
• Export control and sanctions screening
• Embargo and legal control requirements
• Global trade and customs compliance processes
