Your Role
Akkodis is seeking an SAP Security Architect for a Contract job with a client in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate must have deep expertise in SAP Security Design and SAP GRC Administration, along with proven experience leading enterprise-scale security redesign initiatives.
Rate Range: $100/hour to $105/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
SAP Security Lead job responsibilities include:
Lead and drive the SAP Security redesign program, aligning access roles with evolving business processes.
Analyze transaction usage and authorization data, redefining roles based on optimized access models.
Partner with business stakeholders to validate security design and ensure alignment with functional requirements.
Manage offshore teams, overseeing role build, configuration, and testing activities.
Lead updates to SU24, authorization objects, and organizational/functional restrictions.
Develop and execute test strategies, validation plans, and cutover activities for security deployment.
Provide regular updates to leadership on project progress, risks, and technical status.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
8+ years of experience in SAP Security and GRC Administration.
Strong hands-on expertise in SAP role design, authorization concepts, and SU24 configuration.
Experience with SAP GRC (Access Control, Risk Management, Compliance).
Proven track record leading SAP Security redesign or transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of role-based access control (RBAC), segregation of duties (SoD), and audit compliance.
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with SAP Fiori Security Design and Fiori applications
Industry exposure to Manufacturing, Automotive, or Aerospace
Experience handling audit, compliance, and governance frameworks

Pay Details: $100.00 to $105.00 per hour
