Role Overview

The SAP Security Senior Consultant will support SAP security work across S/4HANA and related SAP platforms. The role is 100% remote with once-a-month onsite travel to 200 Sterling Parkway, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.

Primary Responsibilities

• Role is responsible for driving role design conversations, role build, role testing and go live.
• In addition to S4 role design, resource will be expected to work with BTP, BDC, datasphere, and SAP analytics cloud (SAC).
• The senior consultant will report to a manager overseeing activities.
• SAP security role design for S4, GRC, BTP, BDC, SAP analytics cloud, Datasphere, and HANA DB.
• Executed test results for end to end SAP security including unit, integration, and UAT testing.
• Cutover plan for SAP security.
• SOP documents for SAP security support.

Required Technical Skills

• SAP Security Consultant
• 3+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA security experience, with proven ownership of role design, authorization concepts, user provisioning, and access remediation in a live enterprise environment.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP GRC Access Control, including Access Request Management, Access Risk Analysis, role management, and mitigation controls.
• Supporting S/4HANA security administration across Fiori, backend SAP applications, and related technical authorization objects.
• Ability to design, build, test, and maintain single, derived, and composite roles aligned to business process and SoD requirements.
• Performing Segregation of Duties analysis, security risk assessments, and conflict remediation using GRC and compensating controls.
• Security-related support activities such as user access reviews, emergency access/firefighter management, audit support, and periodic recertification.
• Familiarity with transport management, role testing, role troubleshooting, and coordination with functional, technical, and basis teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP security concepts such as org levels, authorization fields, role menus, SU24/SU53 analysis, and access trace resolution.
• Working in structured delivery environments with ticketing, change control, documentation, and stakeholder communication
• Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills, with the ability to support audits, ensure compliance, and drive timely resolution of security issues.
