SAP Supply Chain Functional IT Advisor (Dallas or Houston, TX)

We are seeking anSAP S/4HANA FunctionalSupply ChainITAdvisorto play a key hands-on role in designing, configuring, and supporting end-to-end business processes acrossOxyChemSupply Chain. This role is a key contributor to our digital transformation strategy, supporting SAP S/4HANA.

SAP S/4HANA serves as the core platform forOxyChemSupply Chainbusiness processes, integrated with SAP Ariba, Finance, Logistics, and external customer and supplier systems. This position iswell-suitedforanSAP functional professional who is comfortable owning complex business processes end-to-end while collaborating closely with commercial, procurement, finance, supply chain, and IT teams.

Essential Job Functions

• Serve as a functional expert responsible for solution design, configuration, testing, and production support.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define andoptimizecustomer-facing processes.

• Ensure alignment processes with Finance, Logistics, and Supply Chain operations.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer service, automation, and operational efficiency.

• Support end-to-end procurement transformationinitiativesleveragingSAP S/4HANA and SAPService and Asset Management Development.

• Ensure procurement processescomply withcompany policies, controls, and audit requirements.

• Designand support SAP Ariba solutions.

• Support supplier onboarding and enablement activities.

• Collaborate with procurement stakeholders tooptimizesupplier collaboration processes.

SAP Integration

• Collaborate with SAP technical and integration teams to supportintegrationbetween: 

• SAPService andAsset Management.

• Customer and supplier systems.

• Third-party applications.

• Ensure solution scalability, reliability, and data integrity across integrated systems.

Data & Analytics

• Support business reporting and analytics acrossSupply Chainprocesses.

• Partner with analytics and reporting teams to ensureaccurateand reliable business data.

• Support KPI development and dashboard initiatives.

Operations & Continuous Improvement

• Support SAPS/4 Hana solutionand connected applications forSupply Chain.

• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex business process issues.

• Implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

• Maintain operational documentation, business process flows, and functional specifications.

• Identifysystem optimization opportunities and technical debt reduction initiatives.

• Participate in SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, and SAPtransformation projects.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, and IT teams to deliver business value.

• Collaborate with SAP functional teams including SD, MM, FI/CO, TM, and Integration teams.

• Evaluate and adopt new SAP S/4HANA andadditionalcapabilities.

• Drive innovation in customer and supplier engagement processes.

• Promote best practices and governance acrossSupply Chainbusiness functions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree(or equivalent experience)in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• 15+ years of experience in SAP functional consulting, implementation, and support.

• Hands-on experience with SAPSupply Chain solutions.Experience withSAPMaterial Management.

• 15+years experienceasliaisonbetween business leaders and IT,developing and fostering business relationships.

• Experience working closely with onshore andoffshore support and development teams

• Experience implementing and supporting SAPancillarysolutions.

• Strong understanding of: 

• Supply Chainprocessesincluding material management.

• Financial integration with FI/CO.

• Development Capabilities for SAP Asset Management.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and support.

• Experience supporting integrations through APIs, IDocs, EDI, and middleware platforms.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end business process integration across OTC, STP, Finance, and Supply Chain.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification in Sales, Procurement, or related disciplines.

• Experience with SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics.

• Knowledge ofasset management,transportation, warehousing, and supply chain integration processes.

• Experience in manufacturing, chemicals, energy, or industrial sectors.

• Exposure to AI-driven procurement and intelligent automation solutions within SAP.
