SAP MM / MDG Consultant
Downtown Houston | Hybrid Schedule- 4 days onsite and remote on Fridays
6-Month Contract + Possible Extension

We are currently seeking an experienced SAP MM / MDG Consultant to support a large-scale enterprise environment focused on Materials Management, Master Data Governance, procurement, logistics, and data migration initiatives.

This role will support project cutover, go-live, hyper-care activities, and ongoing SAP MM/SCM operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on configuration experience and a proven background supporting complex SAP data and inventory processes.

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and support SAP MM modules including Plants, Storage Locations, Procurement, Stock Transport Orders, Inventory Management, and Logistics
  • Support data extraction, cleansing, mapping, migration, reconciliation, and mass upload activities
  • Manage material master data and understand downstream business impacts
  • Support inventory valuations, stock movements, MRP procedures, cycle counting, and reconciliations
  • Troubleshoot IDOC/EDI integrations including MATMAS and CLFMAS
  • Configure and troubleshoot SAP MM/SCM functionality
  • Partner with BI and ABAP teams to develop functional and technical specifications
  • Support SAP MDG workflows, validations, UI customization, and master data consolidation activities
  • Prepare user documentation and assist with end-user training sessions

Qualifications:
  • 7–10 years of SAP MM experience
  • Strong SAP MM configuration experience required
  • Experience with SAP MDG and enterprise master data governance initiatives
  • Experience supporting at least one end-to-end implementation as the primary MM functional resource
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
