Job Description:
- We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of transportation management solutions for a large-scale enterprise supply chain environment. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP TM, including transportation planning, freight cost management, freight settlement, order management, integrations, and analytics.
- This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP TM solutions that improve transportation efficiency, reduce logistics costs, and enhance operational visibility across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP Transportation Management (TM) solutions aligned with business and supply chain objectives.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP TM functional specifications and solution designs.
- Drive SAP TM freight cost management and settlement processes, including carrier rating, charge calculation, freight settlement, and financial integration.
- Manage end-to-end transportation order management processes, including planning, execution, monitoring, and settlement activities.
- Design and implement SAP TM analytics and reporting solutions to provide actionable transportation performance insights.
- Define and support SAP TM integration strategies with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise applications within the supply chain landscape.
- Collaborate with business users, logistics teams, and IT stakeholders to optimize transportation processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide functional leadership during system enhancements, testing, defect resolution, and production support activities.
- Lead workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, and solution reviews with business and technical teams.
- Support enterprise transformation initiatives through transportation process standardization and continuous improvement.
- Create functional documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer documentation to support solution adoption.
- Ensure solutions adhere to established architecture standards, governance requirements, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of SAP Transportation Management (SAP TM) experience.
- Proven experience as a SAP TM Functional Consultant or Functional Architect.
- Strong expertise in:

- SAP TM Analytics
- SAP TM Order Management
- Freight Cost Management & Settlement
- Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP S/4HANA and other supply chain applications.
- Strong understanding of transportation planning, logistics execution, and freight management processes.
- Experience leading solution design workshops and collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting large enterprise transformation programs.
- Industry experience in Manufacturing, Automotive, Agriculture, or Industrial Equipment sectors.
- Prior experience working within complex global supply chain environments.
- Exposure to transportation optimization and logistics process improvement initiatives.
