SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) Consultant
Location: Tampa, FL – Hybrid (Travel as needed)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP FI-AP / OpenText VIM Consultant with strong SAP S/4HANA experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in VIM configuration, invoice processing, OCR/document ingestion, workflow customization, and SAP P2P processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and test OpenText VIM Base components, including OCR/IES profiles, document types, and workflows.
- Analyze and streamline invoice processing, exception handling, and approval workflows.
- Integrate VIM with SAP MM and FI for end-to-end invoice processing.
- Resolve VIM DP (Document Processing) exceptions and workflow issues.
- Support e-Invoicing / DRC activities as applicable.
- Develop functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Conduct user training and provide functional support.
- Support VIM implementations and production environments.
- Configure and customize workflows based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with FI, MM, technical, and business teams to resolve issues and improve invoice processing.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience as an SAP FI-AP / OpenText VIM Consultant.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Proven experience with OpenText VIM implementation and support.
- Strong knowledge of SAP P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes.
- Experience configuring VIM Base, OCR/IES, document types, and workflows.
- Strong understanding of invoice OCR and document ingestion.
- Experience with workflow customization and exception handling.
- Experience integrating VIM with SAP FI and MM.
- Strong troubleshooting and VIM DP exception-resolution skills.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and user-training skills.
Preferred
- Experience with SAP DRC / e-Invoicing.
- Experience in S/4HANA VIM transformation or migration projects.
- Experience supporting complex enterprise invoice-processing environments.
